“Snow Bowling”
Look at the smiling faces on the ball and pins! You can’t help but burst into laughter!
Roll and carry a super big snowball shaped ball (the diameter is approximately 1.5m) to the top of the hill (starting point).
After you get the green light from the staff, push the ball towards the pins called “Smiling balloons”. If you hit the pins successfully, hearty laughter will be played from speakers that will echo everywhere and bring joy.
Children under the age of six need to play with their guardians for safety reasons.
Similar to the last season, a variety of fun games and events for families have been organized for this season too!
“Cheese balls and Sesame dumplings”
Come and get yummy snacks if you are a little hungry!
The to-go shop “Green Leaf” serves two kinds of ball-shaped snacks which were created based on the concept of the season “Rolling”.
Rolling sesame dumpling (5 pieces): 500 yen (tax included)
Rolling cheese ball (6 pieces): 500 yen (tax included)
If you feel like munching on something, go grab them right away! Enjoy their chewiness!
Just like last year, the Snow Land area also offers snow-related activities especially for families this year.
Super hot!? “Kotatsu snow sledding”
A kotatsu is a traditional Japanese table with an electric heater attached to the underside of the table.
This unique attraction has been popular since last year!
Feel free to swing by the adventure playground for kids in the Snow Land area.
One of the most popular playground attractions is “Rope swing” (the photo shown above)

Apart from the new events and games, Mr. Tada (in charge of public relations) showed us another attractive aspect of Rokko Snow Park for both beginners and advanced visitors.

First, rental gear is fully prepared!
Local college students who visited the snow park for the first time (the photo shown above)
If you are a beginner, you don’t have to buy any winter sports-related gear in advance. The newest models of winter sports gear including popular kawaii-designed items are ready for rental and will meet your expectations. Just bring yourself, stop by the shop, pick your favorite items, and have fun!
On top of that, students who are in middle school and older can get a 500 yen discount. Please present your student ID when purchasing the one day ticket or the night-time ticket at the ticket counter.
Second, the slopes are well arranged!
The Snow Park consists of two slopes. One is the first slope for beginners and the other one is for intermediate and advanced guests. In addition, there is a practice area on the backside of the second slope. As the slope of the practice area is much gentler than the first slope, it’s an ideal place for super beginners to get ready to ski down the slopes.
Relax and feel free to practice in this large practice area until you feel confident!

If you are ready to try the slopes, take a ski lift to go up to the hilltop. As shown in the photo above, you don’t need to put your skis on while taking the lift. The trip to the hilltop will be very stable and secure.
The Snoiru ski class
Also, taking the Snoiru ski class is a good way to improve your skills. Pick your appropriate class based on your level! At the kid’s class, the mascot of the Snow Park “Snoiru” will encourage kids to do some warmups together before the class begins.
The Snow Park offers not only ski classes but also snowboard classes.
Reservation is recommended!
