Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden (Edelweiss café) 【Arrival】(Beside the Botanical Garden bus stop)
As Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden is situated in a much higher altitude than the downtown Kobe area, the ideal condition for alpine plants along with a cool temperature is maintained. Feel free to stroll throughout the garden and find a variety of wild plants including Rokko’s local plants, wild flowers and grasses that you hardly ever see in a city life.

Over 1,500 plants, that includes overseas alpine plants and cold regions’ plants, are cultivated!
Next to the east gate of the garden, you can see a mountain hut. It’s a café called “Edelweiss”. Edelweiss is a great spot if you would like to unwind for a while over a cup of coffee or tea.

Their large Onsen bath is called “Kobe Nikenjaya Onsen”. The natural hot spring water used for the Onsen gushed out from the vicinity of Mt. Maya. Please loosen up, soak in the slightly alkaline hot spring water and feel its smoothness.
