The only shop serving Arima Ramen
This restaurant is distinguished by the unique font of its signboard occasionally seen around the town of Arima. Arima Ramen refers to ramen sprinkled with Arima's specialty sansho pepper. Made with duck meat, a specialty of Seiryukyo, the flavor of the sansho pepper complements the broth well. Once the noodles and broth run out, the shop closes for the day, so when you see the noren curtains up signaling that they're open for business, you know it's going to be a good day. Regulars and locals stop by to see the owner couple, making it a gathering place where people naturally come together. The wife enjoys hiking at her own pace and often visits the mountains to enjoy the seasonal flowers. In winter, she enjoys visiting frozen waterfalls. Located just a minute's walk from Arima Onsen Station on the Kobe Electric Railway, it's an easily accessible spot, so be sure to stop by before or after your hike!
