Kikusui Onsen, run by the third-generation owner, was been rebuilt from ashes after being completely destroyed in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, going on to become a place where local residents can relax. All hot water in the baths, showers, and faucets is treated with a water softening system, adding an extra touch of luxury.
