Sumaura Sanjo Yuen Park – Sumaura Shop

The starting point of the Rokko Traverse, directly connected to Sumaura Koen Station

Reopened in March 2021, Sumaura Shop is the official store of Sumaura Sanjo Yuen Park, located at the Sanyo Electric Railway Sumaura Koen Station. Sumaura Shop sells exclusive, limited edition Kobe souvenirs made in collaboration with Sanyo Electric Railway, as well as mountain-related items such as hiking maps. Sumaura Park, the starting point of the Kobe Rokko Traverse, is right in front of Sumaura Koen Station on the Sanyo Electric Railway, making it easily accessible. Throughout the day, it's bustling with many hikers, including advanced climbers preparing for competitions, beginners, and families enjoying hiking together. Additionally, there is a ropeway for access to the Sumaura Sanjo Yuen Park around Mt. Hachibuse and Mt. Hatafuri, allowing for hiking plans tailored to individual fitness levels. The view of the city of Kobe from the revolving observation deck on the summit of Mt. Hachibuse is breathtaking!

There are public toilets and vending machines around the station and mountain trails, so even beginners can plan their hike with peace of mind.
During the operating hours of the revolving observation deck on the rooftop observation deck, you can purchase snacks and other convenient food for your hike at the vending machine space on the first floor.
