Part of the Rokkosan Silence Resort complex, Dining in the Sky is nestled in a special location on Mt. Rokko that affords panoramic views of Kobe and all the way out to Osaka.

The three-tiered outdoor terrace offers sweeping views of the mountain forest amid a chorus of birdsong and the swishing of trees, as well as the pure, pure forest breeze. What’s more, the terrace’s well-spaced seating makes it a popular stop for dog walkers. There’s ample room for hikers laden with large backpacks, so come on in and take a weight off!

The BBQ—generous portions of Tajima beef loin and Yoka pork—is not to be missed. (Lunch BBQ from ¥4,800; dinner BBQ from ¥6,800)
There is also a casual lunch course available (¥3,800).
And on those special occasions, come and enjoy the teppanyaki course of Tajima beef and other delicacies as you watch the sun set and see Kobe’s famous nightscape emerge.
