Origin and History of Ribbon Road at the Foot of the Mountains (West)
The Goshikizuka Kofun is the largest keyhole-shaped tomb in Hyogo Prefecture, boasting a total length of 194 meters. Also known as the Sentsubo Kofun, it's a spot where you can experience the magnificent and advanced ancient civil engineering techniques.
Additionally, Kai Shrine is the ancestral shrine of Tarumi Ward, with large torii gates lined up. Many people visit the shrine for safety in sea and land travel, warding off evil, and safe childbirth.

Sumaura Park
There are viewpoint signs at Sumaura Park and the revolving observation deck near Sumaura Koen Station on the Sanyo Electric Railway, where you can enjoy scenic views typical of Kobe.

At Azur Maiko, you can capture a photo with the BE KOBE monument and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge together.
With approximately 800 meters of sandy beach where gentle waves lap against the shore, there's a resort-like atmosphere here. The highly transparent seawater attracts crowds of people for swimming and playing on the rocks in the summer.
In early summer, you can find beach morning glories on the sandy beach of Azur Maiko.
Beach morning glories are perennial herbs in the morning glory family. They prefer sandy soil and bloom flowers resembling those of morning glories, about 5 centimeters in diameter, on rocky shores and sandy beaches.
