Opened in 2004, the Natural Radium Recuperative Hot Spring Hana no Yu is conveniently located for stopping by during hikes and trekking in the western Rokko mountain range. Positioned on a hillside on the northern slope of Mt. Takatori, the open-air baths offer a panoramic view of Kobe cityscape. The natural hot spring, discovered in 2006, was named Kobo no Yu and is bustling daily with many regular customers.

Purchase a bathing ticket at the front desk. The establishment also serves as a "running station," used by many as a starting or relay point for running or trekking. You can store your belongings in the dedicated lockers to start your journey light, and enjoy a leisurely bath when you return to Hana no Yu.

The source of the natural radium spring, which is colorless, transparent, tasteless, and odorless, is known to boost immunity and prevent conditions like arteriosclerosis. With saunas and rock baths on site, it's recommended to stay for a while and refresh after hiking.

Bettei Minato-ken offers a diverse menu, and you can also dine without bathing. The Tonkotsu King Hanabira Chashu (1,050 yen tax included) is their most popular menu item!

You can even drink the highly concentrated natural radium spring. It contains abundant minerals and excellent permeability, promising detoxification effects. The recommended daily intake is approximately 500ml.
