⑤Public Bath - Minato-yama Onsen

Founded in 1891, Minato-yama Onsen is a long-established hot spring located in the mountainous area of Hyogo Ward, once referred to as the "inner parlor of Kobe." The history of the hot spring dates back to ancient times, with records indicating its existence as early as 1179. It is said that Taira no Kiyomori also underwent spa treatment here.
Situated along the Tennodani River, it has become a symbol of the city on the plain. The location is easily accessible for both local regulars who visit daily and hikers, as the entire area boasts excellent views from its elevated position.
