Momiji no Chaya

Many hikers depart from Shin-Kobe and head towards Ichigahara along this classic hiking route. Along the well-maintained trail, you can also visit tourist spots like Nunobiki Falls. It's a course suitable for families with young children to enjoy hiking together.

Ichigahara serves as the starting and ending point for various mountain trails. Momiji no Chaya, famous for its sukiyaki, is distinguished by a teddy bear watching over hikers. To accommodate both reservation guests and regular hikers, one table is always left vacant.
Be sure to confirm if they're open before planning your hike.

Sukiyaki for one person is 3,800 yen. In addition, there is also a wide selection of light meal menu items avail-able.
The sukiyaki, unique to Momiji no Chaya and devised by the proprietress, is a highly recommended choice. During the winter season, feel free to stop by to warm up at this convenient location during your hike and en-joy the variety of light meal options available!
