Situated right above the Rokko Cable Sanjo Station, Tenran Observatory is a popular tourist attraction as it is easily accessible.

Trivia

The "Tenrandai" was named in commemoration of the visit of Emperor Showa on May 25, 1981 (Showa 56).

Locals’ information

Tenrandai is located right by the Rokko Cable Rokko Sanjo Station. It is also accessible by car, and you can park on the east side of the parking lot (4 spaces available) to enjoy the night view from the comfort of your vehicle.
